Children’s workshop: Make a personalised mug!

Personalised Mugs 

ages 8-16yrs. Parents welcome to stay. 

Join us for a fun and creative kids' workshop where your child will craft their very own personalised mug! This hands-on session is perfect for young artists eager to explore pottery and create something unique.

Workshop Highlights:

• Hand-Building: Kids will design and attach a handle to their mug and decorate its exterior using a variety of hand-building techniques. This step allows them to add their personal touch to the mug, making it truly one-of-a-kind.
• Potter's Wheel: Each child will have the exciting opportunity to shape the body of their mug on the potter's wheel. Our friendly instructor Georgia will guide them through the process, ensuring a fun and rewarding experience.

Time Breakdown:

• 1 Hour: Wheel work – shaping the mug's body.
• 1 Hour 30mins: Hand-building and detailing – adding the handle, decorating, and refining their creation.

This workshop is a wonderful way for children to express their creativity while learning the art of pottery. They'll leave with a beautiful, personalised mug that they can cherish or give as a special gift!
