Saturday 6-10 Fine Art: Christmas course

Join us in our Saturday Afternoon Art classes specifically for ages 6-10yrs to learn new skills, art techniques and build on painting and drawing skills.

These classes can be booked as a stand alone Fine Art course, or alternatively booked via the membership option to work towards the Arts Award qualification (Discover / Explore)

Taught by a PGCE, experienced art teacher

All lessons can contirbute to the arts award if purchased before hand.

For this course we have tailored it for students to learn a variety of skills, from Acrylic painting, Design, to clay sculpting and glazing, all inspired by the holiday season.  They will still be logging all their work in their sketchbooks and creating documented journal of their course. Our classroom will be festively decorated too to get their creativity flowing!

Week 3: Christmas clay sculpting Week 4: Paint Christmas cards Week 5: Glaze clay sculptures Week 6: Oil pastel piece - techniques and study

Homework may also be supplied.
