As it’s officially Winter and Christmas is around the corner, I thought it was high time we looked at painting Winter scenes! This 6 week course is perfect for 11-16yrs who love painting and want to learn skills!

About the event
As it’s officially Winter and Christmas is around the corner, I thought it was high time we looked at painting Winter scenes!
Inspired by Claude Monet, we will be delving into Acrylic painting techniques to paint 2 different landscpaes, we will paint watercolour christmas cards and a beautiful watercolour Christmas landscape too!
I will be showing you 10 brilliant Claude Monet paintings of Winter scenes that are seriously guaranteed to put you in a Christmassy mood. Oh, and here’s an interesting fact for you, did you know that Monet painted over 100 snowscapes?! He did this to challenge himself and learn how to paint snow, as it isn't just white!
11th November: Learning Acrylic painting techniques and apply to a series of studies
18th November: Paint a night winter scene
25th November: Paint using acrylics a colourful snowy scene!
2nd December: Complete canvas study
9th December: Paint watercolour Christmas cards
16th December: Paint watercolour christmas landscape snowy scene
Price includes all materials and use of equipment. All students need to bring is themselves!
