Teen Pottery Course 11+

Students will be introduced to the world of clay. Three hand-building techniques will be taught (pinch, coil, and slab)  as well as an introduction to everyone’s favourite, wheel throwing! In this course, students learn different ways to form and manipulate clay, along with multiple glazing and decorating techniques. They will independently create unique work, beginning with a sketched idea, then bringing it to life in a beautiful, decorative, and functional way.

By the end of the course, all pieces should be completed. We will then reflect on the knowledge and skills students have gained working creatively with clay.
