Welcome to Pictura Studios!

Tucked away on Eastgate Row, in the heart of Chester City centre is Pictura Studios, a place that offers Art for everyone!  Inside Pictura Studios you will find a Creative Café, and Art School, our very own art gallery for our students work and an art shop. We also offer the most awesome Arty parties for children and adults!!

Pictura’s Creative Café:

Open 6 days a week is Pictura’s Creative Café, a fun, creative and arty place where you can call in and try some art! Whether it’s pottery painting, decopatch, canvas painting or clay sculpting, we offer that much art variety you are sure to find the artist in you! Prices from £5.

Not wanting to create today? Not a problem, with our wide range of arty loose leaf tea’s to experiment with, from our “Blueberry tea” that changes from blue to pink with a drop of lemon juice, to our flower Creat-ivi-tea’s, you are sure to be inspired! Our Barista coffee goes well with the selection of cakes on offer too! 

The creative café is suitable for all ages and abilities. No booking required.

Our Creative Café also offers clay keepsakes, such as baby hand and foot prints!

Pictura’s Art School:

On the 1st floor of Pictura Studios is our Art School, open to adults and children, to learn new techniques in a variety of media, offering classes for beginners and the more advanced. Our Art school was created with one goal in mind: giving our students a safe and relaxing environment, where they can unleash their creativity and run wild with their imagination. All teachers are fully qualified teachers and DBS checked.

 

For children we offer weekly art clubs, teen classes, full day holiday workshops and themed events.  We are a trained Arts Award centre and offer young people the chance to earn national qualifications whilst they learn and love art. 

 

Our adult classes allow you to take a break from everyday life and let you relax whilst learning and developing your art skills.  From fine art painting, to crochet classes, clay sculpting to lino printing and wet felting, there are so many exciting art classes on offer.

We also offer life drawing workshops on a regular basis. 

Keep an eye out for our adult events too, the painting and prosecco nights are a blast!  Enrol on any of our courses online via our website.

Pictura’s Art Gallery:

Pictura Studios Art Gallery offers local artists and students the chance to exhibit their art work. We pride ourselves in giving everyone the opportunity to sell their work, and are open to all artists and art forms.  Our gallery is open 6 days per week and we invite you to come and view the fantastic collection of art that we have on offer.

 

Picturas Arty Parties

At Pictura studios we host a variety of Arty Parties.  Children's parties are spectacular and make their birthday a masterpiece.  With a range of packages on offer, we can offer art for everyone! Activities can include slime making, canvas painting, pottery painting, Decoupage and more! Parties can be booked for upto 30 people!

 

We also offer corporate parties, team building events, hen and stag parties and family painting parties!
