All you need to bring is yourself. ​ Welcome to "Drawing and Painting fundamentals," an intensive 8-week course designed for adults of all skill levels who are passionate about exploring the world of visual art. Whether you're a beginner eager to develop fundamental skills or an experienced artist looking to refine your techniques, this course offers a structured and creative learning experience that combines both drawing and painting. Course Duration: 7 weeks (14 hours) Course Outline: Week 1- Introduction to Drawing Understanding the importance of drawing as a foundation for painting Basics of line, shape, and form Pencil, charcoal, and ink drawing techniques Still life and portrait drawing exercises​ Week 2-3: Basic Painting Techniques Introduction to painting materials and tools Colour theory and mixing Acrylic painting fundamentals Creating simple compositions and colour studies Week 4-5: Intermediate Drawing and Perspective Developing depth and dimension in your drawings Perspective drawing techniques Advanced still life or architectural sketches Week 6-7: Acrylic Painting Mastery Advanced acrylic techniques: layering, texture, and glazing Landscape and abstract painting Developing a personal style and your own works
