Set in a welcoming and supportive studio environment, this class is ideal for those new to pottery or looking to explore a creative outlet in a relaxed setting. What to Expect: Introduction to Pottery: Start your morning with a friendly welcome and a comprehensive demonstration that covers the very basics of wheel throwing. Learn about the tools, techniques, and simple steps to start shaping clay. Personalised Guidance: With your own wheel and clay, you'll get hands-on experience under the careful guidance of our expert instructor. No prior experience is necessary, as we'll help you through every step of the process. Creating Your First Piece: Focus on crafting a simple item like a bowl, vase, or plate. Enjoy the process of learning and creation at your own pace, with plenty of support along the way. Finishing Touches: Wrap up the session by discussing the drying, glazing, and firing processes. Find out how you can pick up your finished piece and maybe even continue your pottery journey. Additional Details: Materials Included: All materials needed for the session are included in the fee. Collection of Pieces: Your handcrafted items will be ready to pick up from the studio after they’ve been glazed and fired usually about 4-6 weeks after. Join Us: Curious about pottery?
