Service Description

At Pictura Studios in Chester, our holiday workshops are specially crafted to offer children aged 6 to 16 a rich, immersive art experience. Our Children’s Holiday Workshops are designed to foster imagination and art skills in a fun, supportive environment. Each workshop begins with a brief introduction to the day’s project by our qualified instructors. Children are then given the freedom to choose their project, ensuring they are fully engaged in an activity that interests them. Instructors circulate throughout the session, providing guidance, tips, and encouragement to help each child realise their artistic vision. Diverse Art Projects: We will have a choice of 5 art mediums Drawing / Watercolour Painting / Clay Sculpting / Acrylic Painting / Pottery painting: Children can design their own Plate or mug and glaze it with the help of our instructors Interactive Environment: The workshops are interactive and designed to foster a sense of community among participants. Group activities may be incorporated to encourage teamwork and the sharing of ideas, while individual work periods allow for personal exploration and expression. Safety and Supervision: Our workshops are held in a secure, child-friendly environment. All materials used are non-toxic and age-appropriate, ensuring a safe experience for all participants. The sessions are drop-off only, allowing children to immerse themselves without parental distractions. End-of-Session Showcase: At the end of each workshop, children have the opportunity to showcase their creations. This mini-exhibition allows them to discuss their work with peers and instructors, fostering a sense of accomplishment and pride in their achievements. Refreshments and Breaks: Nutritious snacks and refreshments are provided to keep the young artists energized throughout the workshop. Scheduled breaks ensure that children remain focused and enjoy their time fully. Booking and Additional Information: Each workshop session lasts for 2 hours and 15 minutes and is available during school holiday periods, with morning or afternoon options to accommodate various schedules.
