In this hands-on workshop, children will embark on a creative journey into the world of photography. Through engaging activities and practical exercises, they will learn the basics of photography, explore different techniques, and unleash their creativity while capturing moments from their unique perspective.

Workshop Activities:
1. Introduction to Photography
- Overview of basic photography concepts: composition, lighting, perspective, and storytelling.
2. Camera Basics Introduction to different types of cameras: DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and smartphones.
- Explanation of camera settings: aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focus, and white balance.
- Hands-on practice with camera handling, focusing, and taking photos in different modes (auto, aperture priority, and manual for older kids).
Creative Composition
- Discussion and demonstration of composition techniques: rule of thirds, leading lines, framing, and perspective.
- Interactive activities to practice composition techniques indoors and outdoors (using props, framing shots, and exploring different angles).
4. Outdoor Photo Expedition
- Guided photo walk in Chester led by the instructor.
- Encouragement for children to explore and capture various subjects: nature, people, architecture, and everyday objects.
- Individualised guidance and support from the instructor as children experiment with their photography skills.
5. Photo Review and Showcase
- Group review session where children share their favorite photos from the outdoor expedition.
- Positive feedback and constructive critique from the instructor and peers.

6. Creative Projects
- Fun and interactive creative projects related to photography, such as creating photo collages, photo stories, or mini exhibitions.
