Marbling and Collage Craft Morning for Kids
Get ready for a fun-filled morning of colours and creativity! Our special craft session is perfect for young artists who love to play with colours and make their own unique art. We’re going to have a blast with marbling and collage, two super cool art techniques that are perfect for kids of all ages.
Part 1: Magic Marbling Adventure
First up, we’re diving into the awesome world of marbling. It's like magic! You'll get to drop colourful paints into a big tray of water and watch them float. Then, using sticks, combs, or even your fingers, you can swirl and twirl the paints to make wavy, dreamy patterns. When your paint masterpiece looks just right, we’ll carefully place a piece of paper on top, and voilà! You’ll have your very own marbled paper with swirly designs that are totally unique!
Part 2: Cool Collage Time
Next, we’ll jump into the fun of making collages. You can cut out shapes, rip up coloured papers, and stick them together to make a picture or a wild pattern. Mix in your marbled paper, add some stickers, glitter, and even drawings to make your collage super special. There are no rules – just have fun and let your imagination run wild!
All the Fun Stuff We'll Use
Don’t worry about bringing anything - we’ve got all the cool stuff you'll need. This includes safe, washable paints for marbling, loads of paper, scissors, glue, and tons of decorations for your collages. If you have any favorite stickers, photos, or anything else you want to stick on your collage, bring them along!
Show and Tell
At the end of our craft morning, we’ll have a mini-exhibition where you can show off your marbled masterpieces and collages. It’s a great time to see what your friends have made and share your art with them.
