Each week, your child will embark on a magical journey through a variety of art projects, from sculpting and painting to crafting and storytelling, all while exploring the enchanting themes of autumn and Halloween. What Awaits Your Child: Week 1: Clay Pumpkins Unleash the potential of 3D art by sculpting and painting your very own clay pumpkins. Learn the art of texturing to bring your pumpkin to life, ready to glaze later on in the course in vibrant autumn hues. Weeks 2 & 3: Haunted House 3D Creation Step into the shoes of an architect and a storyteller by designing and constructing a spooky haunted house. From ghostly figures to broken windows, create a miniature world of mystery and imagination. Week 4: House Decoration Transform your haunted house into a masterpiece with intricate decorations and eerie embellishments. Let your creativity lead the way to a hauntingly beautiful creation. Week 5: Spooky Silhouette Art Discover the intriguing world of silhouettes and create your own spooky art piece. Use positive and negative space to tell a story that leaps off the page. Week 6: Glaze Your Jack o'Lantern Return to your clay pumpkins to add a glazing touch, making them shine and ready for display. Week 7: Halloween-themed Canvas Painting Combine all the skills you've learned to paint a Halloween scene on canvas. From witches flying across the moon to mysterious landscapes, let your imagination run wild. Week 8: Halloween Masks Conclude the course by designing and creating your own Halloween mask. Whether you're a ghastly ghost, a wicked witch, or a peculiar pumpkin, craft a mask that's uniquely yours. Foster Creativity: Each class is designed to encourage creative thinking, problem-solving, and artistic expression. Skill Development: From painting to sculpting, your child will learn a variety of artistic techniques in a fun and engaging environment. Make New Friends: A great opportunity for your child to meet fellow young artists and work together on creative projects. Take Home Art: Every week, your child will bring home a masterpiece, ready to be proudly displayed. You can book onto the course itself for £75, or you have the option to add this module to your Arts Award level. (£20 for Discover or Explore, £30 for Bronze or Silver).
